Configurations

Dynacorp has designed and rigorously field-proven all its sand filter configurations. Each configuration is optimized for one or more basic well profiles, such as high-rate liquids-rich gas wells, “hot” oil wells or lower-rate dry gas wells. Each configuration comes in multiple diameters of up to 30” to suit the flow rate of the producer’s well.

The lineup of over 20 models covers a broad range of production composition (including critical sour service) and well rate, pressure, temperature and sand content. The lineup includes high-capacity portable equipment designed for high-sand well flowback and cleanup, helping the producer minimize on-site time for well testing equipment.

Dual Horizontal

This configuration can handle throughput from very high-productivity wells and/or multiple wells.

Some of Dynacorp’s dual-horizontal styles feature a larger-diameter, longer bottom vessel and a smaller-diameter upper chamber containing the screen. This style is suitable for high-rate wells, for use during well completions or for a large “plant-style” installation that can handle multiple wells.

The dual-horizontal configuration can be accompanied by a blowdown vessel. It is the most cost-effective design on a unit-processed basis for large-volume wells and/or multi-well applications.

Single Vertical Combination Unit

This unit is arranged vertically and contains an integrated filtration screen within the knock-out vessel. It is Dynacorp’s original design, has been proven over hundreds of installations and remains in wide use. It is always combined with a blow-down vessel.
