Motivation and compensation

In short, your rewards will be tied to achieving your on-the-job goals.

Everyone’s bonus is tied directly to their job performance, including individualized goal-setting every three months. In addition, all tradespeople receive an annual cash bonus to purchasing tools. If you refer someone you know who’s looking for work to Dynacorp, and that person becomes a successful hire, you will receive a cash bonus.

 

Training and development

Dynacorp’s goal is to inspire every team member to do their best, every day.

We do this by working to inspire our people, clearly define their accountability, set clear goals, define their “riverbanks” of responsibility/authority, and then allow them to excel at their jobs without micro-management. Thorough training and team-building are critical to that.

At the trades level

Each apprentice is matched up with an experienced and appropriate journeymen to help them progress smoothly to their own journeyman level. Based on their job performance, aptitude and attitude, Dynacorp journeyman become candidates for lead hands or management.

At the management level

All new members attend initial management training. Every quarter, the whole management team conducts training with a business coach, focusing on rotating topics like strategic planning, financial literacy, leading and motivating people, job execution and process improvements.

 

So much of Dynacorp’s reputation is based on designing sophisticated equipment that is durable and works in the field.

Our managers receive technical training on the installed equipment in the field, an invaluable way for them to understand the equipment’s functionality and hear from users about how the various features work or could be improved.
